Service Management


  • Business Overview: When an Account requires service consultation, service personnel can search by Account name. Based on the configured exact or fuzzy search rules, they can locate the Account information and access the Service Management interface to record the consultation details as a Service Record. Service Records can be viewed under “Work”, “CRM Information”, or the Account details page.

  • Access Point: “Workspace > Service Management”

  • Permissions: Users with the “Service Personnel” Role or CRM administrators.

  • Search Settings: Since Accounts are considered confidential corporate resources, service personnel can be configured to search for Accounts using either fuzzy or exact name matching.

  • Note: Service Management will no longer be actively maintained. Service personnel are encouraged to use the Work Order object for service management instead.
