Facebook Connector Integration Guide


1 Document Usage Instructions

ShareCRM’s integration with Facebook syncs Facebook campaigns, ad sets, ads, ad-level performance Reports, and captured Leads into ShareCRM.

This document contains three sections: pre-sales materials, implementation configuration, and FAQs. Intended audience: implementation consultants, technical consultants, sales managers, and CSMs.

3.2 Implementation Prerequisites

Before implementation, confirm the customer has purchased and activated the Facebook Connector and that the Facebook account is active.

3.3 Implementation Configuration

3.3.1 Connector Authorization

Go to Connector > Connector Management, click New Connector, enter a connector name, select Facebook Connector from the Connector dropdown, and click OK to create:

Open the connector and click Reset to reconfigure:

step1: In the System Parameters section, enter 1 or 2 in the method field (1 = personal account, 2 = business account).

step2: In Authorization Configuration, click Deauthorization in the Authorization status field to start authorization. A Facebook login/authorization window opens — enter the Facebook credentials and click Log In:

step3: Facebook may require security verification during login — complete the verification as prompted.

step4: After successful Facebook login, return to the connector configuration and click Deauthorization again; when the authorization page appears click Continue. The system will return to ShareCRM and display Authorized.

3.3.2 Connector Object Configuration

Switch to the Integrate Objects tab and click New. On the new page, click Automatically Add Object to fetch the Facebook object list. Check the objects you want to integrate and click OK to populate the Object Name and Object API Name fields. Click Save and Next to automatically retrieve that object’s field descriptions:

Click Next Step to configure APIs; if no changes are required click Exit. Repeat these steps for other objects. After completion, the page looks like:

3.3.3 Integration Flow Configuration

From the left menu, go to Data Flow to open the New Data Flow page. Click New Data Flow and configure the flow. For example, to sync Campaigns from Facebook to ShareCRM: set Source System to My Facebook Connector (the connector name you created in 3.3.1), Source Object to Campaign; set Target System to ShareCRM, Target Object to Campaign, select the actions to execute, and click Confirm.

After mapping fields, click Save & Exit and enable the data flow to start synchronization:

Once new data is added or historical data is synchronized, view the sync records:
