Facebook Connector Integration Guide


1 Documentation Guide

The integration between ShareCRM and Facebook enables the synchronization of Facebook ad campaigns, ad sets, ads, ad dimension Reports, and captured Leads into ShareCRM.

This document consists of three sections: pre-sales materials, implementation configurations, and FAQs. It is intended for: implementation consultants, technical consultants, sales managers, CSMs, and other relevant roles.

3.1 Learning Materials

3.2 Prerequisites for Implementation

Before implementation, ensure the client has subscribed to the Facebook Connector and that the Facebook account is active.

3.3 Implementation Configuration

3.3.1 Connector Authorization

Navigate to Connector > Connector Management, click New Connector, and follow the prompts:
- Enter a connector name.
- Select Facebook Connector from the dropdown.
- Click OK to confirm.

To reconfigure, click Reset at the bottom of the connector page.

Step 1: In the System Parameters section, enter 1 (personal account) or 2 (business account) in the method field.
Step 2: Under Authorization Configuration, click Deauthorization in the Authorization status field. A new login page will appear—enter your Facebook credentials and click Log In.

Step 3: Facebook may require security verification. Complete the process as prompted.

Step 4: After logging in, click Deauthorization again in the connector configuration page. On the authorization pop-up, click Continue. You’ll be redirected to ShareCRM, and the status will update to Authorized.

3.3.2 Connected Object Configuration

Switch to the Integrate Objects tab, click New, then Automatically Add Object to fetch Facebook object lists. Select the desired objects and click OK to auto-fill Object Name and Object API Name. Click Save and Next to retrieve field descriptions.

Fields will appear as shown below:

Click Next Step to configure APIs, or Exit if no changes are needed. Repeat for other objects. The final setup should resemble:

3.3.3 Integration Flow Configuration

From the Data Flow menu, click New Data Flow. For example, to sync ad campaigns from Facebook to ShareCRM:
- Source System: Select your Facebook Connector (named in 3.3.1).
- Source Object: Choose Campaign.
- Target System: Select ShareCRM.
- Target Object: Choose Campaign.
- Check the execution actions and click Confirm.
