1. Detailed Introduction to the Price List (Price Book)
1.1 Price List Preset Views
- All
- Owner is the current user or the current user’s subordinate
- Or the Related Teams include the current user or the current user’s subordinate
- Or the customer’s data-sharing rule in Data Permission Management is set to share records owned by the record owner or the owner’s department with the current employee, the current employee’s department, or the current employee’s user group
- Or records that are “My Responsible Departments”
- My Responsibilities: Owner is the current user
- Participated by Me: Related Teams include the current user
- My Responsible Departments:
- The current user is the head of their primary department
- And the Related Team members’ primary department on the record is that department
- Note: Whether the department’s scope includes all subordinate data is determined by CRM Management → Rule Settings → Basic Settings → “Parent-visible data range”
- Responsible by My Subordinates: Owner is a subordinate of the current user
- Related Teams of My Subordinates: Related Teams include a subordinate of the current user
- Shared With Me: In Data Permission Management, the Contact data-sharing rule shares records owned by the record owner or the owner’s department with the current employee, the current employee’s department, or the current employee’s user group
Note: - CRM Administrators can view all records. - Only CRM Administrators can see records with status “Cancelled”; they are hidden from other users.
1.2 Price List Operations
1.2.1 Price List Toggle

- Admin Console → Business Rule Settings → Price Management
- Note: Once the Price List is enabled, it cannot be disabled.
- When enabled, the system initializes a Standard Price List.
- The switch “Enforce price list priority for best price” controls behavior for Orders, Quotations, and Opportunity 2.0:

- If not enabled, show the “Add From Price List Details” button

1.2.3 Price List Creation Rules
- Effective Start / End Date: Optional. Leaving blank means no date restriction and the Price List is effective indefinitely. Only within the date range can the Price List price be applied.
- Price List Status: Only Price Lists in Enabled status are available.
- Applicable Departments, Accounts, and Partners are defined in the Sale Scope.
1.2.4 Add Price List Details
- Description: Add Products to the Price List. When users select products or Price List Details in Orders, Quotations, or Opportunity 2.0, system picks the price according to the Sale Scope → Applicable Price Lists.
- Preconditions: Price List status must be “Active” and “Not Locked.”
- Who can perform this: Owner, the owner’s manager, Related Team members with Read/Write, Related Team members’ managers, and data-share targets with Read/Write permission.
- Entry points: Price List edit page’s “Save and Create Price List Details”; Price List detail page → Price List Details; Price List Details object → Add Product.
- Price List Priority: The configured priority drives the default price when users add products in Quotations, Orders, or Opportunity 2.0.
1.2.5 Edit Price List Details
- Description: Apply different discounts across date ranges. You can edit discounts for single or multiple Price List Details to meet business requirements.
- Preconditions: Price List status must be “Active” and “Not Locked.”
- Who can perform this: Owner, the owner’s manager, Related Team members with Read/Write, Related Team members’ managers, and data-share targets with Read/Write permission.
- Entry points: Price List detail page → Price List Details → Edit button; Price List Details object → Price List Details detail page → Edit button.
1.2.6 Standard Price List
- Description: When Price List is enabled, the system creates a Standard Price List and automatically adds all existing Products to its Price List Details with a default discount of 100%. The Standard Price List cannot be deleted or set to Cancelled; it can only be Enabled/Disabled (Price List Status). Standard Price List Details can only have their discount edited; adding or deleting details is currently not allowed.
- Effective Start / End Date: Default blank (permanent). Only within the date range can the Price List price be applied.
- Default Discount: 100%
- Special Rules: When a Product is added/removed/cancelled/restored, the same change applies automatically to the Standard Price List’s Price List Products. Editing a Product’s base price updates the Standard Price List Product price correspondingly; the Price List selling price remains based on the Price List settings.
