1. Why Retrieve ERP Real-Time Inventory

For mid-to-large organizations, an ERP system typically handles production, purchasing, and other processes that affect Inventory availability.

When these organizations integrate their ERP with ShareCRM Inventory Management, they often use scheduled synchronization. Inventory data shown in ShareCRM can therefore be slightly delayed. In certain business scenarios within ShareCRM, users need to query ERP real-time Inventory and then perform subsequent business actions based on the query results.

2. How to Enable ERP Real-Time Inventory Retrieval

• First, ensure you have the Class B integrated Inventory and Sales edition enabled.
• Plugin path: Inventory Management → Plugin Management → Integration Plugins: “ERP Real-Time Inventory”.
• After enabling, you can obtain ERP real-time available Inventory by two methods: via the Integration Platform, or via an APL function.
• Retrieval via the Integration Platform currently supports Kingdee K3C; support for additional ERP systems will be added later.
• Retrieval via an APL function requires the integrated system to expose a corresponding API. The APL function calls that API to fetch real-time available Inventory and writes the value into the “Available Inventory” field on the ShareCRM Inventory object.

3. Application of Real-Time Available Inventory in Sales Orders

• When creating a Sales Order, in the Order Products list, after selecting a Product, the system retrieves the ERP real-time available Inventory immediately based on the Product + Warehouse combination and updates the “Current Available Inventory” field.

• When saving the Sales Order, the system again retrieves ERP real-time available Inventory based on the Product + Warehouse combination, updates the “Current Available Inventory” field, and performs order validation according to the latest retrieved result.
