Product Attributes


1. Configuring Attributes

  • Standard Attributes: Navigate to the Attribute list page under Products Management in the CRM module.

The Attribute Management list page supports functions such as Create, Import, Export, and Export Images/Attachments.

On the Create page, you can set the attribute name, attribute ID, and attribute values. Attribute values support manual addition, import from local Excel files, and functionalities like setting default values and sorting.

  • Non-Standard Attributes: Primarily used for managing non-standardized attributes such as weight and dimensions. Currently, non-standard attributes support text and numeric types to address different scenario requirements.

Non-standard attributes support Numeric and Text types. Numeric types (e.g., weight, dimensions) are for numeric values, while text types (e.g., color codes) cater to scenarios requiring non-numeric inputs. Non-standard attributes also support default values and attribute grouping.

  • Attribute Grouping: Used to categorize attributes of the same type (e.g., appearance attributes like color and material) or SaaS product features (e.g., basic vs. advanced functionalities). Grouped attributes are displayed collectively during selection. This is an optional feature.

The Group SN determines the display order. When attributes are grouped on the selection page, they are arranged in ascending order of their SN.

2. Associating Attributes with Products

Configure attributes in the Product Details page using the Configure Attributes feature.

After configuring attributes, the associated attributes are displayed on the Product Details page, along with the Configure option.

When associating Standard Attributes, you can define value ranges (e.g., material options like gold, silver, copper, but only gold and copper apply to this product). If an attribute does not affect pricing, set Include in Parameter Pricing to No. In the Price List, only attributes marked Yes can be assigned prices. Default values can also be set for product attributes.

Bound attributes are displayed by group order. Ungrouped attributes are listed under Ungrouped. Selected attributes on the right support editing, drag-and-drop reordering, and more.

3. Attribute Price List

The Attribute Price List links to the main Price List. Select the applicable price list scope and edit attribute prices to differentiate product pricing based on attributes.

4. Selecting Attribute Values During Order Placement

When placing an order, select products and their attribute values. The system pulls prices from the Attribute Price List and displays the selected attributes on the list page.

This is the default mode, displaying attributes and values in list rows. To switch modes, go to Business Rules Management > Sales Process Configuration > CPQ Configuration > Product Selection Mode.

5. Product Quotation & Order Placement

Select products, filter combinations by attribute values, configure sub-items, prices, and quantities, and generate the order.
