How to Use CRM Reminders
1. Definition
CRM Reminder refers to business notifications triggered by predefined system logic within the CRM system to alert users about specific events or tasks.
2. CRM Reminder Menu
-
Notification display logic: A notification menu appears persistently only after the current user receives at least one message under that notification type. For example, if you have never received a Workflow Message, the CRM Reminders menu will not show the “Workflow Message” entry.
-
Reminder menu categories: a. CRM Notifications: notifications generated by system preset logic
Examples:
i. When you are granted a permission in the Admin Console, you receive a “Permission Change” notification;
ii. When a Related Teams member creates or publishes a sales record and links it to the current record, the system by default sends the record owner a “New Sales Record” CRM notification. This type of notification is system preset and cannot be disabled currently.b. Initiated Approval Processes: the collection of approval processes related to you
c. Approval Messages: CRM reminder post-actions configured in Admin Console > Approval Process Management
d. Workflow Messages: CRM reminder post-actions configured in Admin Console > Workflow Management
e. Import/Export Messages: notifications about completion of data import or export operations; exported files are pushed to Chats > Files Assistant and CRM Reminders > Import/Export Messages
f. @Mentions: @ messages addressed to me within others’ work posts
g. My Replies: reply messages I sent and reply messages I received within my work posts
h. My Likes: likes I sent and likes I received
i. Reports Messages: messages related to report exports and subscriptions

3. CRM Reminder Auto-Translation
The CRM Reminders list supports automatic translation based on the user’s selected language. The steps are:
- First, go to Personal Settings > Language & Time Zone Settings to choose your target translation language and enable the supported auto-translation module (currently only CRM Reminders).

After that, open CRM Reminders. A Translate control appears in the lower-left corner where you can toggle Auto-Translate on/off; clicking Language Settings jumps back to Personal Settings > Language & Time Zone Settings
-
When Translate is checked, all notification text on the CRM Reminders list will default to the target language.
Note: This feature is in gradual rollout and requires application for “Auto-Translation Feature (Web)”.

4. CRM Notifications — Mute by Message Type (Gradual rollout; search: “CRM notification mute + list filter”)
- Hover over a specific notification. A mute icon appears on the right; click it to mute all notifications of that same type. Future notifications of this type will not appear in the notification list. (Note: To unmute, go to Notification Mute Settings and re-enable that notification type. Messages generated while muted will remain visible in the list during the mute period.)

- Notification Mute Settings in the top-right lets you choose which notification types to hide.
Note: After saving notification mute settings, the message list refreshes automatically and returns to the first page of the notification list. Notification mute settings also synchronize to third-party platforms (for example, DingTalk).

5. CRM Notifications — Category Filter
The system maps your existing notification data to primary Notification Categories. When you select a category, the notification list shows only notifications under that primary category.
