How to Use CRM Reminders
Definition
CRM notifications refer to business alerts triggered by predefined system logic in the CRM system, reminding users of specific events or tasks.
CRM Notification Menu
-
Display Logic: The notification menu appears persistently only after the current user receives at least one message under that category. For example, if you have never received a workflow notification, the “Workflow Messages” menu will not be displayed.
-
Notification Categories:
- a. CRM Notifications: System-generated alerts based on predefined logic.
Examples:- When granted new permissions in the Admin Console, you receive a “Permission Change” notification.
- When a Related Teams member publishes/creates a sales record linked to your data, the system automatically sends a “New Sales Record” notification to the data owner. This type of alert cannot be disabled.
- b. Initiated Approval Processes: A collection of approval workflows related to you.
- c. Approval Messages: Alerts configured under Admin Console > Approval Process Management.
- d. Workflow Messages: Alerts configured under Admin Console > Workflow Management.
- e. Import/Export Messages: Notifications for completed data import/export operations. Exported files are pushed to Chats > File Assistant and CRM Notifications > Import/Export Messages.
- f. @Mentions: Notifications when you are mentioned in work-related messages.
- g. My Replies: Notifications for replies to messages you sent or received.
- h. My Likes: Notifications for likes you gave or received.
- i. Report Messages: Alerts for report exports or subscriptions.
- a. CRM Notifications: System-generated alerts based on predefined logic.
