Feeds and General Post FAQs


1. Why are group notifications and follow features unavailable for some organizations?

For organizations with EI > 772227, certain features including PK Assistant, Sales Process, Project Tasks, Follow, Reminders, Topics, Rewards, Forwarding, Group Notifications, Commands, CRM Messages, and Printing are temporarily unavailable due to technical constraints.

2. Data sources for [@Me] and [My Replies] in Feeds’ left-side menu

@Me: Refers to mentions received in others’ work posts: - @Me Replies: Mentions received in the comment section of others’ posts - @Me Posts: Mentions received in the main body of others’ posts

3. Unsupported standard object capabilities for objectified Feeds (e.g., Reports, Sales Records)

  1. Field name display is currently unavailable for Feed objects like Reports and Sales Records
  2. Field coloring for single-select, multi-select, numeric, currency, calculated, and star-rating fields is not yet enabled for Feed objects

4. Variations in rich text support across different Feed types (Posts, Reports, Sales Records)

Three rich text modes currently exist:

5. Does Cc scope update when department membership changes?

No. When selecting Departments as Cc recipients, the system resolves department members at posting time. Subsequent department membership changes won’t affect the original Cc list. To include new members, @mention them directly in the Feed.

6. Do Cc recipients receive notifications?

No. Cc is designed for informational awareness without requiring action, unlike @mentions or Receipts which trigger mandatory notifications.

7. Can the Feeds left-menu order be customized?

This feature is not supported.

8. Is Feeds layout customizable?

No. All Feeds modules and components have fixed layouts.

9. Can Posts and Reports be forwarded?

For organizations with EI > 772227 (those migrated from SQL Server), forwarding is unavailable along with PK Assistant, Sales Process, Project Tasks, Follow, Reminders, Rewards, Group Notifications, Commands, CRM Messages, and Printing.

10. How to disable the Feeds application?

Admins can restrict access via Main Navigation settings:
1. Omit “Feeds” from navigation configuration
2. Disallow employee customization of main navigation

These optional fields appear in layouts by default but contain no data when left blank during Post/Report creation.

12. Does rich text support underlining?

This formatting option is unavailable.

13. Can Follow-Up Activity display criteria be filtered?

Field-based filtering is not supported.

14. Does creating a Report auto-load drafts?

The system automatically loads the most recent draft from Drafts when creating Reports, Sales Records, Posts, or Announcements.
