Common Questions About Feeds and General Feed Functionality

1. Why are group notifications and follow features unavailable for my company?

Please check your company’s EI (Enterprise Identifier). For companies with EI >772227, certain features including PK Assistant, Sales Process, Project Tasks, Follow, Reminders, Topics, Rewards, Forwarding, Group Notifications, Commands, CRM Messages, and Printing are currently unsupported due to technical limitations.

2. Data Sources for “@Mentions” and “My Replies” in Feeds’ Left Menu

@Mentions: Refers to mentions received in others’ work posts.
- @Mentions in Replies: Mentions received in the reply section of others’ work posts.
- @Mentions in Posts: Mentions received in the main body of others’ work posts.

c. Mobile: Adding polls is unsupported.
d. Web: Batch download for attachments is unsupported.
e. Web: Table templates and export for table queries are unsupported (in progress).

5. Does the Cc Scope Update When Dept. Personnel Changes in Org Structure?

No. When selecting a Dept. for Cc in Reports or Sales Records, the system resolves the current personnel list under that Dept. and sends copies to those individuals. The Cc scope is fixed at the time of posting. Subsequent changes to the Dept.’s personnel will not affect the original Cc list. To include new members, manually @mention them in the feed.

6. Are There Notifications for Cc in Reports or Sales Records?

No. Unlike @mentions or Receipts, Cc is designed to inform recipients without requiring action, so no notifications are triggered.

7. Can the Left Menu Order in Feeds Be Customized?

No, this is not supported.

8. Can the Feeds Layout Be Adjusted?

No, the layout of modules/components in Feeds is fixed and cannot be modified.

9. Are Posts and Reports in Feeds Shareable?

Check your company’s EI. For companies with EI >772227 (those no longer using SQL Server), the following features are unsupported: PK Assistant, Sales Process, Project Tasks, Follow, Reminders, Rewards, Forwarding, Group Notifications, Commands, CRM Messages, and Printing.

10. Can the Feeds App Be Hidden?

Yes. Admins can restrict it via the main navigation: In the backend layout configuration, exclude the Feeds option and disable employee customization for the main navigation. This will hide Feeds from end users.

11. Why Do Business Data Fields Show “–” in Feeds?

These fields (e.g., in Reports or Posts) are optional. If left blank during creation but included in the layout, the system displays “–” to indicate no value was entered.

12. Does the Rich Text Field Support Underlining?

No, underlining is not supported.

13. Can Follow-Up Activity Data Be Filtered by Field Conditions?

No, this is not supported.

14. Does Creating a Report Auto-Load Drafts from the Drafts Folder?

Yes. When creating Reports, Sales Records, Posts, or Announcements in Feeds, the system automatically loads the most recent draft from the Drafts folder.
