Trigger Approval Process
1. Overview of Triggered Approval Processes
A triggered approval process starts automatically when specific conditions are met. The system initiates the approval flow according to predefined rules and workflow design, processing the related business records for approval and review.
2. Conditions That Trigger Approval Processes
2.1 Trigger on Record Creation
When a user creates a new record or submits related data in the CRM, the system evaluates the configured conditions and rules. If the criteria for triggering an approval process are met, the approval flow starts automatically.
2.2 Trigger on Record Edit
When a user edits or updates an existing record in the CRM, the system checks the configured trigger conditions. If the changes meet the approval rules, the corresponding approval process starts automatically.
2.3 Trigger by Button
A button-triggered approval process is started manually by the user. The user locates the designated trigger button in the interface and clicks it to launch the approval flow.
Note: Bulk-created records imported via data import can trigger the creation-based approval process.
