Approval Flow: How to Use Process Layout
1. What Scenarios Can Process Layouts Enable?
Process Layouts are designed to allow simultaneous editing of fields in both Primary Objects and Sub-objects during approval workflows.
Key features include: - Primary Object: Flexibly configure field display and editing methods at approval nodes based on the Record Type and layout rules of the Primary Object. - Sub-object: Supports process layouts and create/edit layouts for Sub-objects, enabling efficient management of related Sub-object information during approval processes.
2. Which Objects Are Compatible with Process Layouts?
Process Layouts are natively compatible with custom objects and certain preconfigured objects (e.g., Account, Opportunity 2.0, Work Order, Campaign).
For other preconfigured objects (e.g., Sales Order, Quotation, TPM Activity Request), beta access is required for support:
- TPM Activity Request with Process Layout
- Editing Quotation Products During Approval (Process Layout)
- Editing Order Products During Approval (Process Layout)
