Configuring Workflow Post-Actions


Post-Action Workflow - Supports over 10 types of post-actions including CRM alerts, field updates, SMS notifications, email notifications, initiating business processes, data locking/unlocking, assigning owners, creating tasks, creating calendar events, creating sales records, executing custom functions, and creating external notifications.

Post-Action Workflow Description Notes
CRM Alert Sends CRM notifications to relevant personnel upon workflow completion Supports inserting object and related object field variables in notification content
Field Update Updates field contents including selection-type fields (boolean, single-select, multi-select), numerical fields (integer, decimal, currency), time-type fields, and personnel fields  
SMS Notification Sends SMS to internal personnel or specified external mobile numbers Requires SMS service activation, signature configuration, and SMS template setup
Email Notification Sends emails to internal personnel or specified external email addresses Requires system email address configuration in Business Rule Settings/System Email Management, and email template setup in Business Customization - Template Management
Initiate Business Process Automatically triggers business processes for current objects Triggered business processes must be in active status
Data Lock/Unlock Locks or unlocks currently processed data  
Assign Owner Reassigns data ownership for current records  
Create Task Automatically assigns and reminds tasks to relevant personnel, supports inserting object fields and workflow-related variables Created tasks automatically display in Follow-Up Activity of related objects
Create Calendar Event Automatically creates calendar events for relevant personnel, supports inserting object fields and workflow-related variables Created events automatically display in Follow-Up Activity of related objects
