2. Use Case Example 2
Key Account Registration Approval Process: After a sales rep creates a new Account, they supplement Account information during follow-up. If the Account is classified as a key account, it requires approval and reassignment of the sales rep for follow-up.
- “Supplement Account information during follow-up”: Refers to editing Account details, which can be configured as a “Business Activity” for updating Account information.
- “Classified as a key account”: Determined based on Account attributes—if it qualifies as a key account, approval is triggered. A “Branch Node” can be added for conditional logic.
- “Requires approval”: Implemented via an “Approval” business element.
- “Reassign sales rep”: Refers to changing the owner. Configure a “Business Activity” with the action “Change Owner.”
- The entire process can be divided into three stages: “Account Information Update,” “Account Approval,” and “Owner Reassignment.” Segmenting workflows this way clarifies business logic and improves visibility into process progression.
