Batch Import of Fields

1. Bulk Import Fields

Business scenario example: A user needs to add multiple fields under a custom object and then edit them.

2.1 Import

Entry: [Admin Console] -> [Object Management] -> [Preset Object Management] / [Custom Object Management] -> [Import]

2.2 Import Local File

2.2.1 Download Import Field Template

Download template: Click Download Template
Edit template: Rename the template as needed, select field types, configure basic Attributes, then save and upload.

2.2.2 Preview Data

In Preview Data you can adjust fields’ basic Attributes again. After confirming everything is correct, click Save.

Notes:

1. If additional Attributes require configuration, you can edit fields after import to set those Attributes.
2. The following field types are supported for import into Preset/Custom objects: single-line text, multi-line text, rich text, single select, multi-select, number, currency (RMB converted to USD), date, time, datetime, phone, Images, Files (attachments), email, boolean, lookup (lookup relationship), percentage, URL, auto-number, Dept., multi-select Dept., user (person), multi-select user (people picker), location, and master-detail relationship. Other field types are not supported for import at this time.
