2. Translation Languages and Scope
- Available languages: Languages enabled for the current tenant
- Translators: No specific translator required; users with Translation Workbench permissions can perform translations
- Import/export: Only supports importing/exporting existing system terms for updates or display
- Display logic: User-created content won’t automatically receive translated values. Untranslated terms will display the original content (Default Value) when switching languages
- Effective time: Translations take effect system-wide within 10-20 minutes after synchronization
3. Workbench Operations
The Translation Workbench supports importing, exporting, pulling terms, staging modifications, and synchronizing translations for efficient localization.
3.1 Import
- Enables bulk translation by importing translation files for a specific language.
- Only one language can be imported at a time. Upload or drag the file into the designated area to begin.
- For best results, export existing data first, edit it, then reimport for batch translation.

3.2 Export
- Export translation data for a single language with three options: filtered terms, all untranslated terms, or all terms.
- Globally searched results cannot be exported. Only data filtered by [Data Type] can be exported.

3.3 Pull Terms
New terms sync automatically to global translations at midnight daily. Use [Pull Terms] to manually sync specific data types.

3.4 Stage
Modify translations and click [Stage] to save temporarily. [Synced] status remains “No” until synchronized for frontend display.

3.5 Synchronize
Click [Sync] to apply all staged changes. Updates complete within 10-20 minutes. Refresh the page to verify results.

4. Auto-Translation

4.1 Features
- Enabling [Auto-Translation] translates all untranslated terms for the tenant’s enabled languages.
- The system processes translations automatically at midnight daily.
- Completion time varies by term volume. For urgent needs, perform manual translations.
4.2 Notes
- Adding a new language after enabling auto-translation will automatically translate existing data without reactivation.
- Failed tasks (e.g., due to network issues or timeouts) retry automatically.
5. Global Search

5.1 Features
- Enter keywords in the global search bar and click search.
- Searchable fields: Name, Translated Name, and Key content.
5.2 Notes
- Searches respect the selected language. Filters don’t apply during global searches.
- Supports fuzzy matching for Name/Translated Name and exact matching for Key.
- New terms may not appear until midnight auto-sync or manual [Pull Terms]. Data type filters and import/export reflect latest terms immediately.
- Import/export functions are disabled after global searches.

6.3 Configuration
6.3.1 Default Value
The [Name] field and [Default Display Value] in quick translation show identical content (default value). Admin edits display default values, not translations.
6.3.2 Translated Value
Language-specific fields (e.g., [English], [Simplified Chinese]) contain translated values visible to end-users in their language environment.
Note: Modify translated values—not default values—to change what users see.

6.4 Notes
- Enabling translation auto-populates blank language fields with system-generated translations. Verify accuracy.
- Terms cannot be cleared directly—emptied fields retain original content after sync.
- Special case: Default views for [List Pages] and [Task Lists/Details] display translated names based on user language. Subsequent edits follow Section 6.3 rules.
6.5 FAQ
Q: Why don’t layout name changes take effect?
A: Default layouts have preset translations. Modify the target language’s translation value (via the globe icon), not the default value.
