Multi-Region Configuration


1. Overview

ShareCRM supports both user-level and tenant-level locale settings to meet requirements at different organizational levels.

  1. User-level locale: Users can set their country/region in Personal Settings. Each user can choose a time zone and locale that suit their needs, making it easier to work and view data in the system.

  2. Tenant-level locale: Tenant administrators can configure the default country/region for the entire tenant. This ensures team members within the same tenant share a consistent locale configuration for work and data management.

The platform also supports configuring different locales for specific business scenarios to address diverse requirements.

2. Tenant Locale Configuration

Entry: [Admin Console] - [Company Information Settings]

Permissions: Only System Administrators can modify tenant-level locale settings.

After configuring the tenant locale, subordinate users will default to that locale.

3. Personal Locale Configuration

Entry: [Personal Settings] - [Language & Time Zone]

A user’s personal locale does not change when the tenant locale is updated.

4. Impact

When multiple locales are configured, DateTime, Date, and Time fields on record detail pages, list views, create pages, and edit pages will display according to the selected locale.

For example, when the locale changes from China to a European region, the DateTime field format switches from YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM to DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM.
