Frequently Asked Questions
-
1. Advanced scenario (many-to-one): Why doesn’t the Pull Record action on the Create/Edit page map Primary Object data?
- In advanced scenarios, the Pull Record action on the Create/Edit page does not map Primary Object data.
-
2. Why are some preset objects not available in the conversion rule selection?
- Business preset objects must be enabled separately for testing before they can go live.
-
3. Why didn’t the primary data get pulled by the Pull Record action on the Create/Edit page? (Figure: 3-1)
- The Pull Record action on Create/Edit pages performs a secondary pull; it does not overwrite existing Primary Object data and only adds related child (secondary) data.

- 4. Can the Convert button be hidden from the list view?
- When you create a conversion rule, the system provisions a Convert button on the source object. The button’s display locations are fixed to “Detail page, List page single-item action, List page bulk action”; these locations are read-only and cannot be changed. The button cannot be deleted.
- After the button is provisioned, it remains even if you delete all related conversion rules; the button persists indefinitely.
- 5. Can the Pull Record button be hidden on Create/Edit pages?
- By design it cannot be hidden. Once a conversion rule is created, the Pull Record button remains visible on Create/Edit pages.
