Object Change Management Product Overview

I. Application Scenarios

During the execution of a procurement Contract, both parties may need to modify the originally agreed terms. Upon mutual agreement, a procurement supplementary agreement is signed. Consequently, in our business system, the original Contract document must be updated based on the content of the supplementary agreement.

II. Feature Details

2.1 Change Order

When modifying data for a specific object, the Change Order records the detailed changes and provides version comparison functionality.

The Change Order feature can be applied to any object. However, as it requires individual adaptation for different objects, the current version only supports the Contract and Sales Order objects.

2.2 Key Benefits

  1. Physical Document Handling: A Change Order serves as the document for processing modifications, driving adjustments to the original document.
  2. Change Tracking: The Change Order allows adding, modifying, or deleting content within an object. After changes are reviewed and approved via workflow, the updates are synchronized to the object data, and the version is updated. Additionally, detailed change logs are recorded in the Report, with version comparison capabilities.
  3. Difference Comparison: The Report captures version history, change details, and compares data differences before and after modifications.
