1. Sandbox Management

1.1 Create a Sandbox

Create a new sandbox environment:

• Select a source organization associated with this production environment to create the sandbox. The source organization can be the production environment or another sandbox environment.
• Note: To prevent frequent create/delete operations: a Development Sandbox cannot be deleted within 24 hours after creation; a full-copy sandbox cannot be deleted within 30 days after creation.

1.2 Clone a Sandbox

Copy a new sandbox based on a chosen source organization’s configuration:

• Select a source organization associated with this production environment to clone the sandbox. The source organization can be the production environment or another sandbox environment. (In the current release, cloning a sandbox and creating a new sandbox provide the same functionality.)

1.3 Log In to a Sandbox

Access the sandbox environment:

• Obtain the sandbox login URL and enter it in your browser to log in.

The sandbox environment replicates all users from production, and users retain the same passwords as in production. Except for users who have administrator privileges in production, any users created within the sandbox will be prevented from logging in.

1.4 Delete a Sandbox

Remove a sandbox environment:

• Delete the specified sandbox. This operation is irreversible.
