1. People Picker Component Rules

The tenant can configure how the People Picker component displays Colleagues and Depts. at the tenant level.

• Colleagues
  • View modes: support viewing by Org Structure or by Alphabetical order. If only one view mode is configured, the People Picker — Colleagues tab displays only that mode.
  • Default view mode: choose Org Structure or Alphabetical. Default is Org Structure.
  • If no view mode is configured, the system uses the preset employee display mode.
• Depts.
  • View modes: support viewing by Org Structure or by Alphabetical order. If only one view mode is configured, the People Picker — Depts. tab displays only that mode.
  • Default view mode: choose Org Structure or Alphabetical. Default is Org Structure.
  • If no view mode is configured, the system uses the preset Departments display mode.

2. People Picker Field Extensions

The tenant can configure which fields appear on the People Picker — Colleagues tab. The configured fields display on both Web and Mobile.

Displayed fields: Avatar, Display Name (nickname), and Primary Dept. cannot be hidden. You can configure up to 5 display fields.
