1. Common Data Permission Troubleshooting

1.1 A user lacks a specific feature permission but still sees related buttons or can perform actions on data (for example: a user without unlock permission can unlock records)

Troubleshooting approach: Query all Roles assigned to the current user: Admin Console roles + business Roles + all employee Roles permissions

• Admin Console - Roles Management - Admin Feature Permissions: search for the current user and view all Admin Console roles assigned to the user
• Admin Console - Roles Management - Business Feature Permissions: search for the current user and view all business Roles assigned to the user
• Aggregate the feature permissions from the Admin Console roles, business Roles, and all employee Roles under the current object (often overlooked: the employee Role on the object)
