2. Work Order Process Management

  • Configure different service flows for Work Orders based on different Record Types to provide personalized service processes. For example, assign the "Equipment Repair" flow to equipment repair Work Orders.
  • Work Order flow assignment: you can choose an existing flow or create a new one. One Record Type (Work Order type) maps to one service flow. This page displays the current Work Order Record Types and available Business Processes; if a flow appears empty as shown, it means no process has been created yet.
  • For Work Order Record Types that already have an assigned Business Process, creating a new Work Order of that Record Type will automatically start the corresponding Business Process (no additional workflow trigger configuration required).
  • Click the "New Work Order Process" button at the top right to create a Work Order process.

2.1 Simple Flow Overview

A service flow defines the standard process for a company’s Work Orders. If your organization has different Work Order Record Types, you can enable flow nodes in the Simple Flow panel to activate the required steps. (This does not consume Business Process quota.)

Simple Flow Details

The order of Simple Flow nodes is fixed and cannot be rearranged; enable only the modules your business requires.

2.2 Custom (Business Process)

A service flow specifies the routing process for a company’s Work Orders. For organizations with multiple Work Order Record Types, pair each Record Type with a tailored Work Order process. ShareCRM’s after-sales service flows use standard Business Processes to coordinate multi-user task execution.
