Work Order Creation - Toolbar Settings


Work Order Creation Toolbar: When creating a new work order, users can quickly query related Contacts, equipment, and historical work orders under the Account.

  • Example: Query historical work orders, equipment, and Contacts associated with an Account based on the Account name.

  • Configuration path: Service Connector > System Settings > Work Order Management > Work Order Creation Toolbar

  • Display on creation page: Enable or disable this feature. When disabled, the entire toolbar will be hidden.

  • Related object and field configuration:

    • (1) Display settings: Account information is displayed by default. Other objects can be selectively displayed.

    • (2) Data permission settings:
      • “Apply Role Permissions”: The list page displays data based on the user’s Role permissions.
      • “Bypass Role Permissions”: The list page displays all associated data regardless of Role permissions (view permissions on detail pages still apply).
    • (3) Summary field settings: Select key fields to display for quick reference during work order creation.

    • (4) Historical work order filtering:
      • Filter by equipment associated with the new work order.
      • Filter by serial numbers matching the new work order data.

Note: The creation toolbar is only visible on the Web interface, not on mobile devices.
