Work Order Creation - Toolbar Settings
Work Order Creation Toolbar: Provides quick access to a customer’s Contacts, Devices, and historical Work Orders when creating a new Work Order.
- Example: Search by Account name to view related historical Work Orders, the Account’s Devices, Contacts, and other information

- Settings path: Service Connector > System Settings > Work Order Management > Work Order Creation Toolbar

- Display on creation page: Enable or disable the toolbar. If disabled, the entire toolbar is hidden
- Related objects and field configuration:
- (1) Show or hide: Account information is shown by default; other objects can be selected as needed
- (2) Object data permission rules:
- Select “Respect Role permissions” to display data according to the current user’s Roles
- Select “Bypass Role permissions” to show all related data regardless of the logged-in user’s Role permissions; note that record detail visibility on the detail page remains governed by Role permissions
- (3) Object column summary fields: Choose key fields to display for quick reference by the person creating the Work Order
- (4) Historical Work Order quick filters: Support quick filtering by associated Device or by serial number matching the new Work Order; enable to quickly surface matching records
Note: The Work Order Creation Toolbar is visible on the Web only; it is not available on mobile
