1. Inspection Group Template

  1. Click [New]
  2. Select the primary subject for this inspection group: Work Order or Device — this determines whether the inspection group targets the Work Order or the Device (this selection affects subsequent subject choices in SOPs or inspection-group workflow nodes).
  3. Enter basic inspection group information: name, description, etc.
  4. Scope: set the inspection group’s applicable scope (used by the application node to match inspection groups by rules)

  1. Add inspection items: click [Add Inspection Item]. Inspection items define what needs to be checked.
  • SN: items default to sort by creation time
  • Inspection item name
  • Field type: the submission type for the inspection item; supports Text, Number, Yes/No, Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Images, Attachments, Date, Signature
  • Required: whether the item is mandatory
  • Check method: can provide instructions to guide the engineer on how to inspect
  • Example images: upload device examples to show engineers where to check
  • Reference values: for Number type only — set Min and Max reference values (the system will warn when values fall outside this range)
  • Notes required: allows engineers to add additional notes (text or images). If unchecked, the note entry won’t appear during engineer input. You can set conditional rules to require notes (for example, if the measured temperature exceeds the target, require the engineer to add remarks or upload an image).

  1. Adjust priority: smaller numbers mean higher priority (used when matching inspection groups by rules in application nodes)

  1. Rule settings: use one inspection item to control whether downstream items are visible or required. For example, Inspection Item 3 can control whether Inspection Item 5 is shown or required.

2. Workflow Node: Inspection Group

Configure an Inspection Group node in a workflow so engineers can perform checks and submit inspection results.

  • In a Work Order flow, the Inspection Group node defaults to inspecting the current Work Order
  • Inspection Group template: 1) choose a specific template; or 2) match by rules — the system evaluates the template’s Scope + Priority to find matching inspection groups and applies the highest-priority match. If no template matches, you can choose “Auto-complete this node” or a fallback rule.
  • Action button: the primary action button label is customizable; you may also hide the “Complete” button in the pending list
  • Assignee: by default the assignee is the Work Order field “Service Engineer”

Note: a node can only perform one inspection group

3. Field Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) — Inspection Group

3.1 Work Order SOP — Inspection Group

  • You can add an Inspection Group action within a Work Order SOP. See the SOP template guide: https://help.fxiaoke.com/1a54/4107/2f99/5ee8/d486/e606
  • Target subject: Work Order or Work Order.Device (ensure Work Order.Device is required). This determines whether the inspection group targets the triggering Work Order itself or the Device associated with the triggering Work Order.
  • Specified inspection group: choose a specific inspection group
  • Match by rules: the system matches inspection groups by Scope + Priority and applies the highest-priority group that meets the conditions

3.2 Device SOP — Inspection Group

  • You can add an Inspection Group action within a Device SOP. See the SOP template guide: https://help.fxiaoke.com/1a54/4107/2f99/5ee8/d486/e606
  • Target subject: Device (the Device field on the Work Order’s Sub-object). The inspection group will apply to each Device in the Work Order’s Device Sub-object.
  • Specified inspection group: choose a specific inspection group
  • Match by rules: the system matches inspection groups by Scope + Priority and applies the highest-priority group that meets the conditions
