Service Provider Account (New)

Service Provider Overview

1.1 What is Service Provider Management?

Service Providers refer to external partner companies. ShareCRM’s Service Connector enables enterprises to manage external service provider resources. Companies can maintain external service provider details in the Service Provider Management module and create/assign accounts to them.

Through this module, enterprises can:
- Allow Terminal customers to submit Work Orders
- Assign Work Orders to external Service Providers
- Enable on-site services by Service Provider engineers
- Manage Service Provider Parts

This helps large and medium-sized enterprises outsource service operations, reduce after-sales costs, and improve service efficiency.

Note: Currently, Service Providers can only log in/access via:
- ShareCRM App
- Web portal URL
- WeChat service account

1.2 Prerequisites

  • External Service Provider accounts require Interconnection enterprise licenses and enabled Interconnection features. For details, refer to Interconnection Platform Setup.
  • Service Providers are created based on Partners. Ensure the “Partners” module is enabled.
  • Initialization path: Service Connector App → System Settings → Overview Settings → Select “Service Provider Portal”.
For details, see: Service Provider Portal Setup Guide.

1.3 Service Provider Account Activation Methods

Ensure sufficient enterprise quotas (check via Interconnection Settings).

  • Typically, Interconnection admins manually create Service Provider accounts.
  • Sales reps can also activate Service Provider accounts.
  • Downstream Service Providers may self-register.

2.4 Sales Rep Activation

What is Sales Rep Activation?
When a sales rep creates a Contact, the Service Provider employee’s mobile number (entered via WeChat/App/Web) matches the CRM Contact. The system auto-activates an Interconnection account without admin intervention. This restricts access to business-related users only.

Steps:
1. Enable Sales Rep Activation: Admin → Interconnection Management → Interconnection Settings → Business Plugins.
2. Click “Configure Parameters”, enable the feature, and assign “Partner” Roles.
3. After adding CRM Contacts, Service Provider employees can auto-activate accounts via mobile number matching.
