2. Service Provider Portal Role Permissions

Functional Permissions: Based on Interconnection Roles, differentiate and isolate permissions by assigning specific functional access to distinct roles. Terminal users inherit these permissions when added to corresponding roles. Includes:

  • Object-Level Functions: Controls visibility of functional entry points. Example: If the Interconnection Role “Service Provider Engineer” lacks “View List” permission for the “Device” object, Terminal users under this role won’t see the “Device” entry.
  • Operation Permissions: Actions like Create, Edit, etc.
  • Field Permissions: Configure field-level access (Read/Write, Read-Only, or Hidden) for Interconnection Roles. Example: Hide the “Remarks” field in “Work Order” for the “Service Provider Engineer” role.

Key Notes:
- ShareCRM pre-configures fixed roles for Service Provider Portals. For additional Interconnection Role setups, refer to: Interconnection Roles.
- Assign Object Permissions, Operation Permissions, and Field Permissions to Service Provider Roles.
- Object Functional Permissions:
- View List: Entry-level permission for objects in Interconnection Apps.
- View Details: Permission for object detail pages. Without this, Terminal users cannot access Work Order details.
- Operation Permissions: Required for Terminal users to perform actions. Example: Disabling “Create,” “Edit,” or “Import” hides these options in list/detail pages.
