Roles and Permissions
1. Role Overview and Assignment
Service Connector provides a set of predefined Roles and also supports platform-customized Roles to control access to the Service Connector application. See the platform permission guide: https://help.fxiaoke.com/dbde/20d4/686e
- Service Connector Administrator: The administrator of the Service Connector app. Administrators configure Service Connector business settings and can assign the Service Connector Administrator Role to appropriate users.

The system also presets several primary Roles for the Service Connector app, for example:
- Dispatcher: The legacy after-sales Dispatch role. Users with this Role can view and assign all unassigned Work Orders across the company.
- Service Engineer: The legacy after-sales Handler role — the executor of Work Orders. This Role typically represents the person who resolves the Work Order, such as a repair technician or installer.

2. Role Permissions
Role permission configuration: For each Role, administrators can configure corresponding feature permissions and field-level permissions.
Service Connector Roles follow the platform’s Role permission model: https://help.fxiaoke.com/dbde/20d4/686e
2.1 Special Note: Assigning Menu Permissions for Non-Object Pages in Service Connector
- Some menus or pages in the Service Connector app are not backed by objects but still require permission assignment to Roles. Examples include views such as the Engineer Distribution Map.
