Dispatcher Operations
Usage Restrictions
The currently logged-in user must meet the following condition to perform assignment:
- Must have the “Dispatcher” role
1. Work Order Assignment (Web)
Operation path: To-Do → To Be Assigned Work Orders

To-Do list view configuration: Click the Settings button at the top right to customize visible columns in the To-Do list, then click Apply

- Select the work order records to assign, then click Work Order Assignment

- List assignment: View engineers’ online status, current location, and number of assigned work orders to improve assignment efficiency; see Engineer info column display and Dispatcher supplementary work order info settings

- Map assignment: Based on the work order’s detailed service address, the map displays nearby service resources (supports internal staff or external Service Providers) to enable nearest-resource assignment.
- Engineer location: The system automatically captures location from Fieldwork check-ins, work order object check-in components, work order clock-ins, and similar actions.
- Note: Map assignment is unavailable when the work order lacks a geocoded service address

- Dispatcher assigns the work order to a Service Group:

2. Work Order Assignment (App)
- Entry: Workspace → To Be Assigned (Note: an administrator must enable this in advance)
- Select the work orders to assign, then tap Work Order Assignment
- Choose an engineer and confirm to assign (the app does not support map assignment)
- You may select multiple collaborative engineers

3. Reassignment of Work Orders
- Usage restriction: Requires permission for the Reassign action. Contact the Service Connector administrator to add this permission. Reassignment settings
- After a Dispatcher or Service Group Dispatcher assigns a work order, they may reassign it. Select the work order to reassign and click Reassign in the action area
