Manual Engineer Assignment Rules (Scope Limitation)

Manual Work Order Assignment Rules (Scope Restrictions)

Feature Path: Service Connector > System Settings > Work Order Assignment > Manual Assignment Rules.

Note: During the dispatcher assignment phase (including Dispatcher Assignment > Assign Engineer and Dispatcher Assignment > Assign Service Group), Work Orders that do not meet automatic assignment rules require manual assignment by the dispatcher. By default, dispatchers can assign to all engineers or service groups. Manual assignment rules allow restricting dispatchers to assign only specified engineers or service groups during manual assignment.

Manual assignment rule priority determines the execution order when multiple rules exist. A smaller priority number indicates higher precedence.

1.2 Manual Assignment Rule Configuration

  • Work Order Scope: Work Orders that match the manual assignment rule.
  • Dispatcher: Dispatcher(s) responsible for assigning matching Work Orders.
  • Assignable Engineers: Engineers visible and assignable to the dispatcher during manual assignment.

Example: If a manual assignment rule is set as “Work Order.Province = Guangdong,” with Dispatcher: All dispatchers visible/assignable, and Assignable Engineers: Engineer 1 and Engineer 2, then when a Work Order from Guangdong reaches the dispatcher assignment node, all dispatchers will see the pending assignment task, but can only select Engineer 1 or Engineer 2.
