Reassign Engineer

I. Work Order Reassignment

• Operation Entry: Open the Work Order details page and click the [Reassign Engineer] or [Reassign Collaborating Engineer] button.
• During reassignment, the system displays the currently assigned engineers. You may choose to reassign only specific engineers.
• After reassignment, the system automatically updates the new engineers as the handlers in subsequent workflow nodes (if the handler is set to the “Work Order.Engineer” or “Work Order.Collaborating Engineer” fields).
  • Note: If the handler is set to other personnel (e.g., “Supervisor”), use the [Change Handler] button instead.
  • Important: For customized nodes, trigger functions may be required to update the workflow handler to the new engineer.

II. Reassignment Button Configuration

1. Navigate to Work Order Object > Buttons, click “Edit” on the reassignment button, and configure display conditions, actions, validations, and post-action settings.
2. Assign visibility permissions for the reassignment button—typically limited to the Dispatcher Role.
3. Note: Verify whether the button is included in each details page layout.
