Legacy "Reassign" Settings
Usage scenario: After a dispatcher or service-group dispatcher assigns a Work Order, the dispatcher may need to reassign it to another technician. After a technician accepts an assignment, they might find a time conflict or excessive travel distance and need to transfer the Work Order to a different technician.
The reassignment feature has been upgraded. We recommend using the new Reassign button. Click to view the updated feature: https://help.fxiaoke.com/1a54/4107/2f99/7c19/25c1/806c https://help.fxiaoke.com/1a54/4107/2f99/7c19/6286/7cd3
1. Work Order Reassignment
- Entry point: Open the Work Order detail page, then click the Reassign or Reassign Collaborating Technician button on the detail page.
- The Reassign action can change both the primary technician and collaborating technicians. The Reassign Collaborating Technician action can only change collaborating technicians.
- When reassigning, the system preloads the currently assigned technicians so you can choose to reassign some or all of them.
Note: Conditions for displaying the Reassign and Reassign Collaborating Technician buttons:
- Ensure the Work Order detail page layout includes the Reassign and Reassign Collaborating Technician buttons so they are visible.
- Reassignment is only allowed when an assignment step has been executed (assignment status: Assigned).
- Only administrators, dispatchers, the current Work Order technicians, and collaborating technicians can perform reassignments—confirm the role of the currently logged-in user.
- Reassigning a technician will also change the subsequent workflow nodes to set the new technician as the assignee.
