Reassign Engineer

I. Work Order Reassignment

• Operation Entry: Open the Work Order details page, then click the [Reassign Engineer] or [Reassign Collaborative Engineer] button.
• During reassignment, the currently assigned engineers will be displayed. You may choose to reassign only some of them.
  Note: Engineers can typically only be reassigned within the same service group.
• After reassignment, the system automatically updates the new engineers as the handlers for subsequent workflow nodes (if the node’s handler is set to “Work Order.Engineer” or “Work Order.Collaborative Engineer”).
  Note: For customized nodes, you may need to use trigger functions to update the workflow handler to the new engineer.
• To reassign engineers from other service groups, refer to the configuration guide: Special Scenario: Assigning Engineers from Other Service Groups.

II. Reassignment Button Configuration

1. Navigate to Work Order Object > Buttons, click Edit on the reassignment button, and configure display conditions, actions, validations, and post-actions.
2. Assign visibility permissions for the reassignment button—typically granted only to Dispatcher Roles.
3. Note: Ensure the button is included in each details page layout.
