Process Notification to Terminal Users
1. Process Notifications Overview
External process notifications refer to messages sent to external Terminal users — for example, when an external Terminal user submits a Work Order or when you invite an external user to provide a service evaluation, the system can send a notification to that external user.
Notification channels include:
(1) WeChat Official Account notifications. Prerequisite: the WeChat Official Account is connected and the Terminal has followed the Official Account and completed registration.
(2) WeChat Mini Program service notifications. Prerequisite: you use the WeChat Mini Program and the Terminal has completed registration.
(3) SMS notifications. Requires purchasing/enabling SMS service.
2. Custom External Process Notifications
You can configure notifications to external Terminal users for specific service process nodes via the process post-action capability.
- Select the node where you want to send an external notification, then click Confirm;
- Click Add and choose External Notification;
- Customize the external notification parameters;
- External notifications are sent via WeChat Official Account. Note: if the Terminal user has not registered/bound with the WeChat Official Account, they will not receive the message — only users registered with the Official Account can receive WeChat messages.
