Custom Work Order Process (Business Flow) Example
To help Service Connector administrators better understand and configure service workflows, this section demonstrates a simple service workflow configuration.
Scenario Overview:
1. Work Order Acceptance
- Key configuration points involve setting up fields and layouts for the Work Order object. For details, refer to:

2. Work Order Assignment - Dispatching
- The first dispatch node can assign Work Orders to service groups. For example, based on team division, Work Orders can be automatically or manually assigned to service groups.

3. Work Order Assignment - Assigning Engineers
- Add a second assignment node where the service team lead manually assigns Work Orders, or team members can use Order Grabbing, or the system automatically dispatches within the group.

4. On-Site Service
- Option 1: Standard workflow node—edit the Work Order object or create a related object (e.g., Work Order Service Record).
- Option 2: Configure advanced Fieldwork types + service Fieldwork nodes to complete the engineer’s end-to-end service workflow.
