Multi-dimensional Target Management Permissions
Target Value Permissions
1.1 Operation Permissions
1.1.1 Edit
- The target value can be uniformly set by the Target Administrator, a preconfigured system role;
- Alternatively, regular employees can configure target values depending on whether “Allow individuals to modify targets” is enabled in the corresponding rules:
- Primary rule: If an employee’s role lacks “Edit” permission for the target value object, they cannot edit targets regardless of the “Allow individuals to modify targets” setting;
- Secondary rule: When an employee’s role has “Edit” permission for the target value object:
- If “Allow individuals to modify targets” is enabled:
- Regular employees can edit their own targets;
- Supervisors can edit subordinates’ targets;
- Department heads can edit targets for employees under their department and department-level targets;
- Both supervisors and department heads can edit target values for personnel shared with them.
- If “Allow individuals to modify targets” is disabled:
- Regular employees cannot edit their own targets (including supervisors and department heads who cannot set targets for themselves);
- Supervisors can edit subordinates’ targets;
- Department heads can set targets for employees under their department (but cannot set department-level targets for their own department);
- Heads of parent departments can set targets for child departments;
- Target values for personnel shared with them cannot be edited.
- If “Allow individuals to modify targets” is enabled:
1.1.2 Import/Export
Configured through the “Import” and “Export” permissions for target values in role settings.
1.1.3 Target Value Menu Access
The menu entry is only visible to roles with “View” permission for target values.
1.2 Data Permissions
1.2.1 Visibility of Target Values
Determined by data visibility permissions for objects: Personnel/Account/Product/Partner.
- Personnel: Includes both Org Structure permissions (visible subordinates, departments under responsibility) and shared Personnel object data. Example scenario: If Ye Mingzhu isn’t the sales department head but needs to view sales targets, sharing the sales department’s Personnel data with them grants visibility to these target values in both list views and Charts.
- Account: Visible target values match Account list visibility;
- Product: Visible target values match Product list visibility;
- Partner: Visible target values match Partner list visibility.

1.2.2 Visible Target Rules
Target rules are visible when they apply to: myself, my subordinates, or departments under my responsibility, AND contain target values for Personnel/Account/Product objects that I have permission to view. However, only target value data within my permission scope under these rules is visible.
1.3 Target Administrator Role
- Employees with the Target Administrator role can view and operate all target rules and values enterprise-wide, suitable for centralized target management scenarios.

- To grant backend “Target Rules” management permissions to this role:
- Navigate to Role Permission Management > Management Function Permissions
- Add management role with “Target Rules” permission
- Assign this role to Target Administrators
