Bubble Chart

1.1 Use Cases

Bubble charts visualize data distribution across dimensions through bubble size and position. For example, they can compare data distribution among different Accounts within a specified range.

1.2 Chart Configuration

1.2.1 Axis Data

• Bubble Position: 2 metrics
• Bubble Size: 1 metric
• Bubble Color: 0–1 dimension
• Bubble Grouping: 1 dimension (defaults to primary Attribute field, non-editable)

1.2.2 Styling (Web)

1.2.2.1 Basic Info

• Chart Name: Defaults to the analysis Subject name during creation; customizable.

• Notes:
  • Content: Add contextual notes to clarify the chart’s purpose.
  • Display Style:
    • Collapsed: Shows as an icon next to the title; hover to reveal.
    • Expanded: Displays text directly next to the title.
    • Hidden: No notes shown.

• Metric Name: Displays the metric name by default; customizable.

• Dimension Name: Displays the dimension name by default; customizable.

1.2.2.2 Display Settings

• Legend: Defaults to top; toggle to hide.

• Data Labels: Defaults to inside bubbles; toggle to hide.

• Data Table: Toggle to show/hide and set position (top/bottom/left/right).
  • Hide in Card View: Enabled by default when the data table is shown.

• Scrollbar: Defaults to auto-adapt; toggle to always show/hide.
  • Show: Always displays regardless of screen size/data volume.
  • Hide: Never displays.

1.2.2.3 Colors & Fonts

• Color Schemes:
  • Modern: Supports custom colors.
  • Classic: No customization.

• Font Size: Defaults to 12; options: 13–16.

1.2.2.4 Axes

• X-Axis:
  • Title: Disabled by default; enable to edit.

• Label Angle: Defaults to horizontal; options: 45° right/left, vertical.

• Y-Axis:
  • Title: Disabled by default; enable to edit (defaults to first metric name).

• Axis Labels: Enabled by default; customize angle (horizontal/45° left/vertical).

• Gridlines: Enabled by default; toggle to hide.

1.2.3 Functional Config

1.2.3.1 Advanced Settings

• Reference Lines: Add up to 6 lines (disabled by default).
  • Setup: Set values for X/Y-axis lines; optionally hide names.
  • Quadrant Labels: Add descriptions for each chart section.

1.2.4 Styling (Mobile)

1.2.4.1 Inherit Web Layout

• Mirrors Web settings; non-editable.

1.2.4.2 Custom Mobile Layout

• Defaults to Web settings but allows mobile-specific adjustments.
  • Fewer options than Web; unsupported settings inherit Web configurations.
