2.2.1 BI Components
2.2.1.1 Global Filter
- Global Filter: Includes two conditions—User and Date. Both are enabled, unlocked, and applied to all charts by default. With this setting:
- Charts follow the system’s default filtering logic. Applicable charts inherit the User/Dept. and Date fields specified in their Data Scope to align with the global filter.
-
If a chart has no Data Scope defined, the system uses Owner/Primary Dept. and Date by default.
- Attributes:
- Applicable Charts: Default applies to All Charts. You can switch to Preset Charts or Custom Charts.
- Lock: Unlocked by default. When locked, standard users cannot change the global filter while viewing the dashboard. In Enterprise dashboards, the “User” filter cannot be unlocked.
- Per-Chart Filter Configuration: Choose which charts follow the global filter and which fields they use. Charts without explicit configuration still follow system defaults.
- Overwrite Users’ Saved Defaults:
- When selected, updates the viewer’s default filter values when they open the dashboard.
- When not selected, viewers’ saved defaults remain unchanged.
