Chats Management
1. Overview
Displays basic information and access points for the Chats application. Administrators can configure Chats app administrators and visibility settings.
2. Basic Settings
Configures front-end operations, including:
- Whether internal messages can be forwarded to Interconnection
- External contact settings
- System notification settings for member changes in group chats
3. Custom Chat Groups
Administrators manage CRM group chat types available to employees via Admin Console > Chats Management > Custom Chat Groups.
- Default CRM group chat types include:
- Account Group
- Account Pool
- Dept.
- Lead Pool
- Opportunity 2.0
- Administrators can create custom chat groups for other objects based on business needs.
4. Chats Administrator Permissions
If the Chats Management entry is missing, administrators must add permissions via Admin Console > App List > Chats.
