Product Sales Information Maintenance
1. Product / Item Maintenance
1.1. SKU Mode
After a new company is enabled, the Products object is enabled by default. Because a storefront requires rich product presentation — images, rich text descriptions, and product Attributes — populate the Products fields as fully as possible, including product Images, product Category, and detailed rich-text descriptions.
As the basic product data for the storefront and to provide distributors, agents, and customers with a smooth ShareOrder experience, maintain the following information:
- Images: ShareOrder aims to deliver a B2C ordering experience similar to JD or Taobao, so maintaining Images is mandatory.
- Product Category: Avoid deep category hierarchies. For FMCG, apparel, appliances, etc., keep category depth to two levels or less.
- Rich-text details: Provide a product detail page with rich text and images so Distributors can quickly understand product features.
- Price: The product’s base Price, which Distributors can reference. Maintain as needed. If you do not maintain it, downstream users will only see the Price List pricing.
- Barcode: With Barcode populated, users can scan to order directly in ShareOrder.
- Safety Stock: When Inventory Management is enabled, a Safety Stock field is available. If stock falls below Safety Stock, the Inventory Manager receives an alert.

For sensitive product fields such as purchase cost or original price that you do not want Distributors to see, restrict their visibility for Distributor roles.

1.2. SPU Mode
For customers in FMCG or durable-goods industries that require multi-specification products, enable the Items (product bundle) object. Menu path: [Admin] - [CRM Platform Management] - [Business Rule Management] - [Product / Item Configuration]
The core of the Items object is multi-specification support: maintain the multi-spec records and also maintain Item Images, Item Category, and rich-text Item details.

Note: - If multi-unit support is required, enable multi-unit capability as well — see the related Videos for instructions. - If batch or serial-number tracking is required, enable batch & serial number management — see the related Videos for instructions.
2. Image Management
For customers with large SKU/SPU volumes—especially FMCG—ShareOrder provides bulk add/update capabilities for product/item Images to improve SPU/SKU operational efficiency.

Use this feature to bulk-manage, upload, and update product/item Images, including uploading Images to the Cloud Drive, deleting or adding Images for the current product/item, and syncing an SPU’s Images down to its SKUs:

3. Tag Management
When ShareOrder is enabled, a Tags field is added to the Product / Item object. Select Tags as needed. Manage Tags in the admin backend, including edit, add, and disable operations.
You can use Tags to drive storefront displays.

4. Storefront Categories
If the storefront-facing Categories differ from internal management Categories, enable Storefront Category capability.
1) Enable Storefront Categories 2) Link Product / Item records to Storefront Categories 3) On the storefront front end, filter product lists by Storefront Category
