Query Rules:

  1. Query Object: The object to be made available for external user queries.
  2. Display Name: The navigation name displayed to external users when querying multiple objects.
  3. Search Fields: The field values that Terminal users can query against.
  4. Manual Text Search: Enter text manually for searching.
  5. Barcode Scan Search: Scan barcodes for identification. If the actual barcode contains extra values compared to the system barcode field, you can set truncation rules.
  6. Search Data Scope: Defines the data range accessible to external users. You can either allow searching all data or restrict it to specific subsets.
  7. Query Results: After a search, the results page displays a limited number of entries. If multiple results exist, only the first XX entries are shown.
  8. Display Fields: The summary fields displayed in the results list page.
  9. Data Permissions: Determines the data visibility in query results. If external data permissions are unrestricted, users may see data outside their Role permissions (e.g., equipment from other organizations). However, clicking into detailed results requires permission validation—unauthorized access will prompt a “No View Permission” message.
