TPM Campaign Management core terms

Reference the objects, nodes, and rule terminology used in Campaign Management.

Core concepts at a glance

This module uses campaign types to define processes. Campaign plans and campaign applications carry a campaign. Agreements, evidence, audits, and write-offs record execution and expense results.

Processes and objects

Term Description
Campaign app On the web, open More > Campaign from the main navigation. On mobile, use the Campaign custom app Workstation.
Campaign node A step in the campaign process. Preset nodes include Campaign Plan, Campaign Application, Campaign Agreement, Promo Proof, Campaign Audit, Store Expense Write-off, Store Expense Disbursement, and Dealer Expense Write-off. Enterprises can also create custom nodes.
Campaign type Builds the complete campaign management process. A campaign type consists of multiple ordered campaign nodes, with business rules configurable for each node. Campaign administrators can create one quickly by scenario.
Campaign plan A pre-campaign plan. It is the regional master plan used as the basis for later campaign applications.
Campaign application An individual campaign case for a dealer. Users can launch one directly or submit an application from a master plan.
Campaign agreement An agreement that a participating store signs to define execution standards and expenses.
Promo Proof The sales representative reports campaign execution at the store, or records it later on the web.
Campaign audit The auditor evaluates evidence as qualified or unqualified.
Store Expense Write-off writes off execution expenses for stores each month.
Store expense disbursement Issues expenses to stores that meet the requirements based on periodic Write-off Results. The entry point is CRM > Sales Orders.
Dealer Expense Write-off The activity owner starts a prepaid-Expense Write-off request for the dealer. It takes effect after approval and is added to the campaign’s written-off expenses.
Write-off evidence The preceding node specified for a write-off node in the campaign type. Users review that node’s data within the write-off period when starting and approving a write-off.
Expense item Expense master data that Campaign can reference, such as shelf/layer, endcap/layer, display pile/unit, tasting, promoter, and advertising. Maintain it as business master data.
Campaign app license Authorizes roles to use Campaign features and consumes product-use quota. Creating or editing Campaign Plan, Campaign Application, Campaign Agreement, Promo Proof, Campaign Audit, Store Expense Write-off, and Expense Write-off is controlled by this license.
