View the budget summary table
In coarse-control scenarios, review budget usage by control period and control dimension.
Overview
When your enterprise uses coarse control for budgets, you can review budget usage on the control dimension through the budget summary table.
Generation timing: after an expense budget sheet is created successfully, and the control policy of that Budget Sheet is not strict control by planning dimension, the system automatically generates one budget summary table by the control period and control dimension values of that sheet.
The summary scope of a budget summary table is expense budget sheets with the same budget type and the same budget level.
Before you start

Object permission: You need the Budget Summary Table object permission.

Completion Conditions: The related expense budget sheet is already created successfully. The budget type control policy is not strict control by planning dimension.

Entry: Budget Management app → Budget Management > Budget Summary Tables.

Note: The system generates budget summary tables. This object is view-only. You cannot create records manually.
Operation steps
View the summary list
- In the web main navigation, open Budget Management.
- Go to Budget Management > Budget Summary Tables.
- Locate the target summary table by budget type, level, control period, or control dimension.
View summary details
- Open the target budget summary table in the list.
- Verify budget usage summarized on that control dimension, and the related expense budget sheets.
💡
If you cannot see a summary table after creation succeeds, first confirm whether the control policy of that expense budget sheet is strict control by planning dimension. In strict control, the system does not generate a summary table.
Expected result
- The list shows budget summary tables generated by the system.
- In the details, you can see the summary result of expense budget sheets of the same type and the same level by control period and control dimension.
