Enable, view, and copy goal rules
Enable confirmed rules and reuse existing rule configurations.
Overview
Enabling a rule is a key step in the target management workflow. Disabled rules are not visible on the Goal Values page. You can use Save As to copy a created rule, reuse its configuration, and reduce repeated work.
Before you begin
[!IMPORTANT] Before enabling a rule, confirm that its evaluation object, metric, dimensions, period, and applicable scope no longer need changes.
Procedure
- Go to Setup > Business Rule Management > Goal Rules and open a goal rule.
- On the rule details page, verify the rule configuration.
- Enable the confirmed rule.
- On the rule details page, confirm the settings for applicable departments and dimension-value synchronization.
- In the final step of the rule, select Save As to copy the created rule.
Verify the result
The enabled rule is available on the Goal Values page. A copied rule retains the original configuration; verify it before enabling it.
