Multidimensional target management

Learn how goal rules, goal values, and completion analysis work together.

Overview

Target Management is the core engine for multidimensional analysis. First, your enterprise defines goal rules in the system. Then, goal administrators or employees enter goal values according to those rules. Completion analysis uses goal and completion values to help each role measure goal attainment through dashboards and charts.

Business value

Your enterprise first defines its target management strategy, then an administrator defines goal rules. Goal administrators or employees with permission to view goal values enter values according to enabled rules. Completion analysis uses goal and completion values to help users measure goal attainment.

Core workflow

  1. An administrator configures and enables goal rules.
  2. A goal administrator or an employee with the Goal Value > View List permission enters goal values from the Goals menu.
  3. Viewers analyze completion in dashboards or charts.
