Heatmap

### Use cases A heatmap uses color depth to show the magnitude of values for each dimension within a data range. For example, a heatmap can compare the number of accounts across different industries and account levels.

Style (Web)

##### Basic info * Chart name: When you create a chart, the analysis topic name is used by default. You can change it to a custom chart name based on the chart configuration.

  • Remarks:
    • Remark content: You can add remarks to the current chart so viewers can better understand what the chart conveys.
    • Remark style:
      • Collapsed: Displayed as an icon after the chart title in the detail view and card view. Hover over the icon to view the remark content.
      • Exposed: Displayed as text after the chart title in the detail view and card view.
      • Hidden: Not displayed in either the detail view or card view.

  • KPI Name: Displayed as the KPI Name by default. You can change the display content.

  • Show total:
    • Display mode: Displayed by default. You can switch to hide it. When displayed, it appears in the edit view, detail view, and card view based on the configuration. When hidden, it does not appear in any view.
    • Show total in card view: Selected by default. You can clear the selection to hide the total in the card view. When Display mode is set to hide, this option is read-only and cannot be edited.

  • Data Statistics table: You can set Visible the Data Statistics table and where to display it. It is hidden by default. You can switch to display it at the top, bottom, left, or right of the chart.
    • Hide Data Statistics table in card view: This option is available when the Data Statistics table is displayed. It is selected by default.

##### Color and font * Color: The system supports two color schemes: new palette and classic palette. The first set of the new palette is used by default. You can also enable accessible pattern settings. * New palette: Supports customizing colors based on an existing color scheme. * Classic palette: Does not support custom colors.

  • Font size: The default is 12. You can switch to 13, 14, 15, or 16.

  • X-axis
    • Show title: Not selected by default. When selected, the dimension field name is displayed, and you can adjust it.
      • Title: Read-only when Show title is not selected. You can edit it after selecting Show title.

  • Label angle: Horizontal by default. You can switch to right 45°, left 45°, vertical, or upright vertical.

  • Y-axis
    • Show title: Not selected by default. When selected, the name of the first metric is displayed, and you can adjust it.
      • Title: Read-only when Show title is not selected. You can edit it after selecting Show title.

  • Axis labels / Set Tags:
    • Label angle: You can set the label angle. Horizontal by default. You can switch to left 45° or vertical. The display effect is the same as the X-axis label angle.

  • Sort: Not selected by default. When selected, you can set sorting and TopN for a dimension based on itself, or sorting and TopN for a dimension based on a metric. You can select a preset TopN or enter a specific value.
  • When the dimension is an enumeration value or a department field, custom sorting is supported.

Standalone Configuration layout
  • By default, the settings selected for the corresponding Web configuration items are displayed. You can further adjust them for a better mobile display.
    • The configuration items and options are fewer than on Web. Configuration items that cannot be set separately on mobile use the Web configuration by default. The display effect and logic of configurable items are the same as on Web.
