01-Configuration Guide.md
A custom report template allows users to select fields from multiple business modules in the same column of a blank report template under a custom theme.
Use case
When you create a report with a blank template under a custom theme, you can select only one module at the same level. To select multiple modules in the same column, you need a custom report template.
For example, if you select Sales Order as the primary business module, you can select Account on the left and Payment Details on the right. To also select Order Product on the right, you need a custom report template.

How it works
Module types
- Solid module: The primary business module of the report. Both preset objects and custom objects can serve as the primary business module. Detail objects cannot.
- Outlined module: A related business module (Related To).
Module relationships
- Lookup: The module on the right looks up the module on the left.
- Master-detail relationship: The module on the left is the primary business module, and the one on the right is the detail object.
- Special relationships that can associate with any object: Business Process, Approval Process, Stage Advancement process, and Sales Records.
- A template can contain up to 5 business modules.
