Overview of data analysis in connected scenarios

Overview

Data analysis in connected scenarios includes three capabilities: distributing charts from upstream to downstream organizations, enabling downstream users to access reports through BI menu items, and aggregating statistic-chart metrics from multiple downstream organizations into the upstream organization’s account subject.

Core Concepts

Upstream organizations use connected applications to distribute charts to downstream organizations, expose BI menu items, and aggregate downstream metric data. Together, these three paths provide complete data analysis capabilities for connected scenarios.

Usage Limits

  • When viewing distributed charts, downstream users can view details, filter, drill down, view record details, and export. They cannot create, edit, delete, subscribe, forward, or share.
  • After entering the report list through a BI menu item, users can create reports and pivot reports and export them. Forwarding and sharing are not supported.
  • When a downstream organization turns off synchronization, no new data is synchronized. Data that has already been synchronized is retained.
