Create a joined report
This article describes the features, operations, and rules for creating a joined report.
Before you begin
[!IMPORTANT] Confirm that you have the corresponding BI page access permissions. For operations involving creating, editing, or managing, you also need the corresponding management permissions.
Joined report configuration process
- Creation entry point: On the report list page, CRM administrators or report administrators can select New Joined Report from the New drop-down menu.

Select the join result type
- Join result types:
- Standard report: The join result is in standard report style.
- Crosstab report: The join result is in crosstab style.

Select source reports
- Select a join type (single selection):
- Left join: All data from the left source report is shown; the right source report only shows data that meets the join conditions, with empty values filling where the right source report has no matching data.
- Inner join: Combines data from the selected source reports that meets the join conditions.
- Outer join: All data from the selected source reports is shown, with empty values filling unmatched data in each report.
- Vertical join: Rows from the two reports (including duplicate rows) are appended together.
- Select source reports: The selectable range comes from the report list (excluding joined reports).
- Left join: First select one left source report, then select 0–4 right source reports.
- Other join types: Select 1–5 source reports.

Select common dimensions
Used for data matching during the join; select the same group or detail fields from the source reports.

Select data ranges
The final data of the joined report is affected by the filter conditions in each source report. If a filter is not added, the data is not shown, but the filter still takes effect.
- Common data range: Add filter conditions selected from two or more source reports. Only one can be selected from a given source report at a time. Once added, the filter condition takes effect in each respective source report.
- Data range: Add filter conditions from each source report. Once added, the filter conditions take effect in each respective source report.
- Special filter conditions: For filtering methods not currently supported by reports, the joined report provides special handling: comparing field values, and deduplicating data by a specified date field. Note: Most recent only supports a single source report configuration.

Header names and sorting
Displays the common dimensions and the remaining header fields from the source reports. You can drag to reorder, rename, hide headers, edit or add/remove calculated metrics, set whether subtotals/totals are Visible, set the display position of subtotals/totals, configure warnings, grouping/statistics, sorting, ranking, row numbers, and more.

Composite headers
You can add rows on top of base headers and perform cell operations to divide areas for grouped display, and adjust column widths as well as the alignment of headers and the body for easier data viewing.

Save the joined report
After saving the joined report, subscription, moving, renaming reports, and forwarding are currently supported.

Verify the result
After completing the operations on this page, check whether the displayed result meets expectations in the corresponding report, statistical chart, or joined report. If a field, metric, or operation entry is unavailable, first confirm whether the selected subject, data range, and permissions match.
