Configure behavior points rules


Automatically accumulate Behavior Points for Leads based on marketing interactions.

Overview

Behavior Points are accumulated from marketing-user interactions in scenarios such as official accounts, conferences, forms, webpages, and live streams. The points result can be written to Sales Lead fields. Business users can use it to assess Lead intent and follow-up priority.

Before you begin

[!IMPORTANT] - Role permission: CRM administrator or ShareMarketing administrator. - Version requirement: Behavior Points must be purchased separately. - Dependencies: Use this feature together with the ShareMarketing application. - Prerequisite configuration: The Sales Lead object has a numeric field that receives points, such as Behavior Points.

Configuration steps

  1. In CRM Backend Management > Business Rule Management > Behavior Points, open the Behavior Points rule list.

  1. Click Create Scoring Rule and enter the scoring rule name.
  2. Set the scoring object to Sales Lead.
  3. In Set Points Rules, select the behavior sources and specific actions that participate in scoring.
  4. Set conditions, addition or deduction methods, and point values for each action.

  1. In Rule Result Configuration, select the numeric field that receives total points.
  2. For tiered operations, select a single-select field as the grade field and set point ranges.

  1. Click Save.

Rule reference

  • The scoring object currently supports only Sales Lead.
  • The Sales Lead object can have only one Behavior Points rule.
  • One behavior can have multiple condition groups and point addition or deduction rules.
  • When multiple points rules are matched, the system applies them in sequence.
  • Total points can be used for Lead filtering, segmentation, and BI statistics.

Expected result and validation

  1. Use a test user to trigger one marketing interaction, such as following an official account or submitting a form.
  2. Open the corresponding Sales Lead Details page.
  3. Check whether the Behavior Points field is updated.
  4. Click the points value to view the points detail dialog.
  5. Confirm that the details include behavior time, behavior type, and added or deducted points.

Notes

[!WARNING] Avoid overlapping rules. For example, follow any official account to add 1 point and follow the ShareCRM official account to add 2 points can both match. The final result is 3 added points and two generated point details.
