The first step in the use process of target multi-dimensional management: configure target rules

  • Objective rules define the rules for multi-dimensional management of enterprise objectives, including assessment objects, assessment dimensions, assessment indicators, assessment fiscal year, assessment cycle, scope of application, etc.
  • Operational role: CRM administrator or a management role that has the authority to manage > business rule management > target rules

1. The process of configuring target rules

1.1 Example of business scenario 1: The company wants to evaluate the order performance of various sales departments and sales personnel

  • Scene dismantling
    • Who is assessed? -->Personnel
    • Assessment dimension? -->Assessment by department and employee
    • What business is specifically assessed? -->Sales order. Sales order amount
    • Assess fiscal year? -->2021, 2022 fiscal year
    • According to the person in charge of the data or the creator or other personnel relationship assessment personnel to achieve? -->Person in charge

    • Starting month: March
    • Evaluation indicators: sales order. sales order amount
    • Statistical date: refers to the business meaning of "date" when "date" is used as a filter in the statistical chart. For example, when filtering this month, it refers to the order data of "order date" in this month, so here select "order date".
    • Personnel relationship: When setting target values ​​for employees and assessing the achievement of the employee's goals, the employee's business meaning is the person in charge of the data, the creator or other custom relationship, here select the person in charge.
    • Department relationship: refers to when the target value is set for the department and the goal of the assessment department is achieved, the business meaning of the department is whether the data belongs to the department or the person in charge belongs to the main department. Here, select the department.
    • Evaluation index restriction conditions: Define the business data that meets the conditions that will be counted to the completion value. For example, the data whose status is "obsolete" needs to be filtered out here.
    • Whether to split sub-goals: When you need to further split into more refined sub-goals according to a certain dimension, you can choose "Yes" and select the specific dimension field for splitting, for example, according to the source or business type of the sales order Wait for further split.
  • Select the departments to participate in the assessment: You can choose the whole company or specific departments. Select Sales Department here.
  • Allow individuals to modify goals: controls whether individuals can edit goal values
    • First: When the role of an employee does not have the "Edit" permission for the target value object, no matter whether the rule checks "Allow individuals to modify the target", they cannot be edited.
    • Second: When the employee's role has the "edit" permission of the target value object.
      • Check "Allow individuals to modify goals" on the rules
        • Ordinary employees can edit their own goals, superiors can edit the goals of subordinates, and department heads can edit the goals of employees under the department and the goals of the department.
        • Superiors and department heads can edit the goals they have permission, including the goal value of "personnel" shared to me.
      • "Allow individuals to modify goals" is not checked in the rules
        • Ordinary employees cannot edit their own goals (including superiors and department heads cannot set goals for themselves), superiors can edit the goals of subordinates, and department heads can set goals for employees under the department (the head of the department cannot set goals for the department) set goals).

After saving, the target rule is in the "Disabled" state by default. After confirming that the rule no longer needs to be modified, "Enable" the target rule. Only the enabled target rule can be seen under the "Target" menu, and then set the target value.

1.2 Example of business scenario 2: The company has several core customers and wants to quantify the sales of these customers

    • Evaluation index restriction conditions: Define the business data that meet the conditions will be counted as the completion value, for example, select the status here as "Payment has been paid".
    • Whether to split sub-goals: When you need to further split into more refined sub-goals according to a certain dimension, you can choose "Yes" and select the specific dimension fields for splitting, such as the source of sales orders, business type Wait for further split.
    • In the rules where the assessment objects are customers and products, there is no configuration of "allow individuals to modify the target", and the default is to use the "edit" permission of the employee's role on the target value object.

    • Personnel relationship: When setting target values ​​for employees and assessing the achievement of the employee's goals, the employee's business meaning is the person in charge of the data, the creator or other custom relationship, here select the person in charge.
    • Department relationship: refers to when the target value is set for the department and the goal of the assessment department is achieved, the business meaning of the department is whether the data belongs to the department or the person in charge belongs to the main department.
