- At the top of the page, select Note.

- Select related business data.
- Set Cc Scope as needed and @ relevant personnel.

The new entry of Sales Record is controlled by the Sales Record > New business function permission of the role. Record types and form fields are assigned by administrators according to roles and layouts; All Employees roles represent employees across the organization.
Record follow up from object list
- Enter the Sales Record object list.
- Click New.
- Select a record type and fill out the form.
- Correlate customers, leads, opportunities, or other business data.
- Publish Sales Record.
Quickly record from the follow-up activity

- Open Follow Up Updates.
- In Activities, select Write Note.
- Enter the follow-up content and submit it.
The system associates current business data by default.
If a lookup field is configured in the Sales Record layout, the system copies the selected value to Related Data. Whether Write Note is displayed is controlled by the Activities component in the current object detail-page layout.

View Sales Record
- Feeds display Sales Records created by yourself, copied to yourself, or @ yourself.
- The object list is displayed according to the data permissions of the Sales Record object.
- Follow-up updates are mainly displayed according to the data permissions of the current business object, and have nothing to do with the basic data permissions of the Sales Record object; when there is no data permission for the current business object, you can only see the updates posted by yourself, copied to yourself, or @ yourself.
- Visibility scope in connected apps is controlled by external team data permissions and connected role permissions.
Feeds use the mobile summary layout before clicking Show More, and use the details page layout after opening the full content. When the two layout fields are inconsistent, the fields seen before and after expansion will also be different.
[!NOTE] The same Sales Record has different permission sources in Feeds, object list and follow-up updates.
[!IMPORTANT] When a user belongs to a team related to the current business data and the activity permission of the user’s related-team role are disabled, even if the user obtains permissions for the business data through other means, he may still be unable to view the updates posted by others. CRM administrators are not subject to this restriction. After an organization activates the “Prohibit viewing of activity through data-sharing permissions” phased release, employees who have obtained business data permissions through data sharing cannot view the activity published by others, but Feeds administrators can still view Sales Records. When troubleshooting, you should query the source of permissions for business objects such as Accounts, not just the Sales Record object permissions.
