Use business groups

Establish group chats around business objects such as business opportunities, allowing teams related to business opportunities to communicate, view business information, and follow up on sales progress in the same space.

Business group type

The system can provide preset business groups for objects such as customers, businesses, departments, lead pools, and business opportunities. Administrators can also configure business groups for other objects based on business scenarios.

Create Opportunity business group

  1. Enter the target opportunity details page.
  2. At the top of the page, click Business Group.
  3. The system enters Chats and creates or opens the business group corresponding to the Opportunity.
Enter the Opportunity business group from the Opportunity details page
The business group is bound to the current Opportunity. The group name is taken from the name of the Opportunity by default. After entering the group, you can continue to view the business information and sales progress of the Opportunity.

View Opportunity information

After entering the Opportunity business group, you can view the stage reminders pushed by the Opportunity assistant in the communication area within the group; the business information area on the right displays information such as the person in charge of the Opportunity, the main department, record type, account name, related teams, and sales processes. When you need to view the complete record, you can enter the Opportunity details page.

Manage group members

After the Opportunity business group is created, employees in the Opportunity-related teams will automatically join. When related teams change, group members change simultaneously.
[!NOTE] By default, only employees in the relevant team will be parsed. Departments, roles, and user groups can only be parsed after the organization activates the corresponding phased-release features.
Business group members are driven by the relevant teams of the business objects. It is not recommended to treat business groups as ordinary Chats group members for manual maintenance. If the member is inconsistent with the relevant team, first check the relevant team configuration and phased-release features, and then contact the administrator to check the synchronization status.
Relevant internal team members cannot withdraw from the business group on their own. People who join the business group as other members can leave. When you need to remove internal related team members, you should adjust the related teams of the business object instead of just operating in the group space.

Subscribe to Opportunity updates

  1. In the business group, click More > Group Assistant.
  2. Select the opportunity CRM messages you want to subscribe to.
  3. Save the subscription.
The group assistant can push business information such as changes in Opportunity stages to the group. The group assistant cannot be removed; if you need to stop pushing, please cancel all message subscriptions.
